Many women in Syria are supporting their families with few opportunities to earn an income. At several of our locations, our instructors run sewing and knitting workshops for women, with all lessons and supplies provided free of charge.

Women learn to make clothes and toys, skills they can turn into a livelihood by selling what they make, or use to clothe their families when buying new clothing isn’t an option.

Beyond the practical skills, the workshops give women a space to learn, connect, and build confidence and independence.
